I stayed at Kwekwe Private Game Lodge for a week and on arrival one is immediately taken up with the tranquil atmosphere and a sense of relaxation. On meeting the staff, I found them to be extremely friendly and helpful. The place is well kept and very clean, this goes for the bedrooms which are spacious, pleasant layout and typical African themed. The Lodges are well equipped and anything else one needs can be arranged by the friendly staff. The private braai areas and swimming pools are also a plus for those that enjoy their privacy. The Farm is well stocked with various African game and one sees animals from the moment you drive in. For those looking for a weekend away that won’t break the bank and only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg then this is a place you have to try. The place is 4 Star rated but the experience is 5 star.
We visited Kwekwe for a week and the facility’s are great and accommodation is fantastic. Got to see all the animals they are so friendly you can get up and close to them.
