Our Story
Kwekwe was born from a singular conviction: that true luxury is not found in what you possess, but in what you are permitted to witness. Here, in the ancient rhythms of the South African bush, we offer presence, silence, and the profound privilege of belonging to something larger than yourself.
Where You'll Stay
All three lodges are fully self-catering — your home in the bush, completely equipped.
The thatched lodge was inspired by the architecture of the people of Benin, West Africa. Built on 2 levels, it is decorated with art and objects from Benin and surrounding African countries. The lodge comfortably sleeps 8 guests in en-suite bedrooms.

Hornbill Lodge features a large open-plan living area, dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with 2 refrigerators, a gas stove, and all appliances and utensils. The 4 air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms sleep up to 11 guests in comfort.

Ndebele Lodge consists of 3 buildings painted by the local Ndebele women of Mabhoko Village — a living canvas of bold geometric artistry. En-suite air-conditioned bedrooms sleep 11 guests, with 2 bedrooms suitable for disabled guests when accompanied by an able-bodied person.
